Canvas River is a calm, focused dashboard that sits on top of your Canvas LMS account. It pulls together the things Canvas buries — every assignment across every course, what's due next, and what's worth your attention — into one clean view.
Why we exist
Canvas is powerful, but it scatters your work across a dozen course pages. You end up clicking into each class just to figure out what's due this week. Canvas River brings it all to the surface so you can plan your time instead of hunting for it.
How it works
You connect your Canvas account with a personal access token you generate yourself. We use that token to read your courses and assignments from the Canvas API and display them here. That's it.
Read-only
We only read your courses and assignments. We never post, edit, or submit anything on your behalf.
Private to you
Your token and your data are tied to your account and never shared with anyone else.
Yours to revoke
You can disconnect or revoke your token in Canvas at any time, and Canvas River will simply stop working.
What's coming
This first version connects your account and shows your classes and upcoming assignments. Next, we'll add AI-generated overviews and time estimates for each assignment, so you know not just what's due, but how long it'll take.
