Reconnect Canvas

If your assignments stop syncing or you see an "expired connection" message, your Canvas access token may have expired. Here's how to reconnect:

  1. Go to your Account page.
  2. Click "Reconnect" in the Canvas Connection section.
  3. Follow the steps to generate a new access token in Canvas and paste it in.

Add to Your Home Screen

You can install CanvasRiver as an app-like icon on your phone for quick access.

iPhone (Safari)

  1. Open this site in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share icon (square with an up arrow) at the bottom.
  3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".
  4. Tap "Add" — CanvasRiver will appear on your home screen.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open this site in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right.
  3. Tap "Add to Home screen".
  4. Tap "Add" — CanvasRiver will appear on your home screen.
